Founder Elle Lau is completely obsessed with everything to do with tea. Having grown up in the British countryside and now working in London, her passion for afternoon tea transcends to collecting porcelain and bone china tea cups. Elle is also a recent graduate from London’s Sotheby’s Institute of Art, specializing in Antiques and Decorative Arts. Her knowledge of the antiques industry ranges from 16th century glass to French Rococo furniture, and of course, her favorite topic, porcelain and Bone China. Studying what she loves has helped her to put everything into context as she understands that history, design and the world we now live in is all connected. Elle’s parents are also keen antique collectors and the whole family have been collecting for the past 15 years. As a family, they found harmony and happiness to ‘treasure hunt’ together, travelling around England to ‘collect memories’.
We introduce you to Hong Kong’s new lifestyle brand ‘Blooms Tea Room’, bringing you an eclectic range of vintage and antique home décor and tableware, along with the future perspective of a Tea Room/ café in Hong Kong and China!
